The more sets the better…right? The truth is you produce the same results with one set if you take the set to Momentary Muscle Failure (MMF). MMF is achieved when you get to the point where you cannot complete another rep with perfect form. Knowing this, it is up to you if you want to perform one set or multiple sets. For us at Discover Strength, we prefer optimal results in the shortest amount of time, and therefore perform one set of each exercise.
