Can Exercise Help Mitigate Alzheimer’s Disease

A recent study was published that was looking into the incidence rates of Alzheimer’s disease with individuals of varying levels of strength. There were approximately 900 individuals in this long term longitudinal study, and what the authors concluded was that the stronger you were the less likely you were to have Alzheimer’s disease or to have died due to Alzheimer’s disease. This stands true for a number of chronic diseases, so there are really only two things you can do; 1. Hope you have great genetics and were born strong to help mitigate Alzheimer’s disease and other chronic diseases or 2. Build your strength up to the highest degree possible to aid in your fight to prevent chronic disease!
